RDSoft Free Watch is a Chrome extension that adds a “Watch Now (Free)” button to IMDb title pages.
Information We Collect
RDSoft Free Watch does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information.
The extension only checks the current active tab URL when the user opens the extension popup or uses the Watch Now button. This is used only to determine whether the current page is an IMDb title page and to redirect the current tab to the matching playimdb.com page.
How the Extension Works
When a user is on a page beginning with:
https://www.[PLATFORM].com/title/
the extension can redirect the current tab to the same path on:
https://www.play[PLATFORM].com/
For example:
https://www.[PLATFORM].com/title/example
may redirect to:
https://www.play[PLATFORM].com/title/example
Permissions
The extension uses limited permissions only for its core function:
- activeTab: Used to check the current active tab URL after the user interacts with the extension.
- Host permission for https://www.[PLATFORM].com/title/*: Used to display the Watch Now button only on IMDb title pages.
Donation Link
The extension includes an optional Donate button. When clicked, it opens a PayPal donation page. This is handled by PayPal and is subject to PayPal’s own privacy policy.
Third-Party Websites
RDSoft Free Watch may redirect users to playimdb.com when the user chooses to click Watch Now. RDSoft Free Watch is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
Data Sharing
RDSoft Free Watch does not sell, trade, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
Data Storage
RDSoft Free Watch does not store user browsing history, personal information, or usage data.
